Planetary Hours · Last updated 10 June 2026
PH Technology Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops the Planetary Hours app (the “App”). We respect your privacy and built the App to work with as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.
Location. If you allow it, the App uses your device’s location — or a city you enter manually — to calculate the correct sunrise, sunset, and planetary hours for your area. This calculation happens on your device. You can use a manually entered city instead of GPS, and you can change or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.
Usage & diagnostic data. To keep the App reliable and understand which features are used, we collect limited analytics through Google Firebase — for example app events, device model, operating-system version, language, and general (non-precise) region. This data is used in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
Advertising identifier (only with your permission). When you first open the App, iOS may ask whether you allow tracking. If you agree, the App may access your device’s advertising identifier (IDFA) to measure how well our marketing — such as App Store ads — performs. If you decline, this identifier is not used. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking.
Purchases & subscriptions. If you buy the premium version, your purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive whether your subscription is active and an anonymous identifier — we do not receive or store your card number or Apple ID.
Support messages. If you email our support address, we receive your message and email address so we can reply, and we use them only for that purpose.
What we don’t collect. We don’t require an account; we don’t collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, or health data; and we don’t track you across other companies’ apps and websites unless you opt in as described above.
The App relies on the following services, each with its own privacy policy:
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for unrelated purposes.
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the App has no account tied to your identity, most data is either on your device or anonymized. You can:
We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We keep analytics and diagnostic data only as long as needed for the purposes above, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.
We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your data is treated in line with this policy wherever it is processed.
The App or this page may link to sites we do not operate. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post any changes on this page and update the date above.
