PH Technology Solutions LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops the Planetary Retrogrades app (the “App”). We respect your privacy and built the App to work with as little personal data as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App handles, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the App, you agree to the practices described here.

The short version

Information we handle

Location. If you allow it, the App uses your device’s approximate location (iOS reduced accuracy, only while you use the App) to calculate accurate Moon rise and set times for your area. The astronomical calculations happen on your device; to display your city’s name, the App uses Apple’s geocoding service — your coordinates are never sent to us. Location is optional: everything that doesn’t depend on it, such as retrograde dates and planetary positions, works without it. You can change or revoke location access at any time in iOS Settings.

Purchases & subscriptions. If you buy the premium version, your purchase is processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. We receive whether your subscription is active and an anonymous identifier — we do not receive or store your card number or Apple ID.

Support messages. If you email our support address, we receive your message and email address so we can reply, and we use them only for that purpose.

What we don’t collect. We don’t require an account; we don’t use third-party analytics; we don’t show ads or track you across other companies’ apps and websites; and we don’t collect your name, phone number, contacts, photos, or health data.

Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/UK GDPR or California’s CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your data and to object to or restrict certain processing. Because the App has no account tied to your identity, most data is either on your device or anonymized. You can:

Data retention

Because the App does not use third-party analytics, there is very little to retain. Support emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

International users

We are based in the United States, and your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure your data is treated in line with this policy wherever it is processed.
